Softball action returned to the Old Recreation Grounds after two weeks of weather related postponements. (SEE PHOTO GALLERY BELOW REPORT)
30/06/10
Blue Wings scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning and defeated Upsetters 12-11. Blue Wings had 12 runs 9 hits 4 errors and left 9 runners on base. Upsetters had 11 runs, 12 hits, 3 errors and left 5 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Raymond Mercer in relief of Dwayne Davis who failed to retire an Upsetters batter. The loser was Sirron Scatliffe who went all the way for Upsetters. Raymond Mercer of Blue Wings was 3-4 with a double, a triple, 2 runs scored and 4 runs batted in and Raphael Jack was 2-4 with 3 runs batted in. Kareem Douglas of Upsetters was 3-5 with 3 runs scored and Richard Jack was 2-3 with a double, 2 runs scored and 3 runs batted in.

East Invaders won by forfeiture over Upsetters who were unable to field a team.
Hurricanes scored 4 runs in the first 2 innings and held on to defeat Fryers 6-2. Hurricanes had 6 runs, 10 hits, 3 errors and left 9 runners on base. Fryers had 2 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors and left 6 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Neville Smith and the loser was Tishawn Henley. Brent Herbert of Hurricanes was 2-2 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in and Sylvester Johnson was 3-3 with a run scored and a run batted in. Nelson Ramirez and Jamaal Allen each had a hit and scored a run for Fryers.

Lady Braves defeated HLSCC Stingrays 14-1. Lady Braves had 14 runs, 8 hits, 0 errors and left 7 runners on base. Stingrays had 1 run , 0 hits, 9 errors and left 7 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Adina Nibbs who pitched a complete game and allowed no hits. The loser was Cassie Stoutt. Perline Leonard and Adina Nibbs of Lady Braves each had 2 hits, scored 2 runs and knocked in 2 runs.
Rams won by forfeiture over Hawks . Hawks refused to continue the game after a disputed call by an umpire. Rams was leading the game 11-5 and batting with 1 out in the bottom of the 5th inning.
Reds defeated VG Ball Starz 13-3. Reds had 13 runs, 9 hits, 0 errors and left 9 runners on base. Ball Starz had 3 runs, 5 hits, 5 errors and left 3 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jason Fonseca and the loser was Pablo Rincon. Angel Byas and Kahlif Henley of Reds each had 2 hits and scored 2 runs.

Hurricanes defeated Upsetters 22-1. Hurricanes had 22 runs, 17 hits, 0 errors and left 2 runners on base. Upsetters had 1 run, 2 hits, 6 errors and left 4 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Roy Hill and the loser was Shaheem Benjamin. Kye Rymer, Brent Herbert and Sylvester Johnson each had 3 hits for Hurricanes. Rymer and Herbert each scored 4 runs and Herbert knocked in 5.
Reds defeated Braves 14-7. Reds had 14 runs, 14 hits, 1 error and left 9 runners on base. Braves had 7 runs, 3 hits, 7 errors and left 8 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Elwyn Barry and the loser was Denzil Daniel.
