Softball results for April 28- May 2

Action continued in the LIME and First Bank sponsored 2010 BVI Softball Association Fast Pitch Softball League. Results are as follows:-

28/04/10

Braves scored 15 runs in the 4th inning and held on to defeat Fryers 16-15. Braves had 16 runs, 10 hits, 6 errors and left 8 runners on base. Fryers had 15 runs, 8 hits, 10 errors and left 4 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Denzil Daniel and the loser was Kayron Todman. Jareem Todman of Braves was 1-3 with a double, 3 runs scored and 3 runs batted in and Rafael Solomon was 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Joel Fahie of Fryers was 2-3 with a double, a triple, and 4 runs scored and Malcolm Smith was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a run batted in.

Rams scored 7 runs in the second inning and 8 in the fifth to defeat the Crushers 16-9. Rams had 16 runs, 9 hits, 4 errors and left 2 runners on base. Crushers had 9 runs, 5 hits, 8 errors and left 4 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jelisa Potter and the loser was Felecia Wattley. Bria Smith of Rams was 2-4 with a triple, 3 runs scored and 2 runs batted in and and Khyra Powell was 3-4 with a double, a home run, 3 runs scored and 2 runs batted in. Felecia Wattley of Crushers was 2-3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 3 runs batted in.

Fryers defeated Dodgers 21-9. Fryers had 21 runs, 15 hits, 1 error and left 1 runner on base. Dodgers had 9 runs, 7 hits, 5 errors and left 5 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Reynold Corum and the loser was Kenrick Thomas. Rafael Rabsatt was 2-4 with a triple, a home run, 2 runs scored and 6 runs batted in and Tishawn Henley was 2-2 with a double, a triple, 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in.

Hawks defeated HLSCC Stingrays 14-7. Hawks had 14 runs, 5 hits, 3 errors and left 3 runners on base. Stingrays had 7 runs, 2 hits, 6 errors and left 8 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Thea Cooke and the loser was Riiah Durante. Shanica Forbes of Hawks was 1-4 with a triple and 2 runs batted in and Jheane Niles was 2-4 with 2 triples, and 4 runs scored.

Blue Wings defeated VG Ball Starz 13-0. Blue Wings had 13 runs, 8 hits, 1 error and left 3 runners on base. Ball Starz had 0 runs, 3 hits, 0 errors and left 5 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Raymond Mercer and the loser was Milcaides Jiminez. Manuel Stevens of Blue Wings was 2-2 with a home run, 2 runs scored and a run batted in and Khoy Frett was 2-2 with a double, a triple, a run scored and 2 runs batted in. Erwin Telemaque of Ball Starz was 2-2.

East Invaders defeated  Braves 16-6. East Invaders had 16 runs, 4 hits, 1 error and left 3 runners on base. Braves had 6 runs, 3 hits, 6 errors and left 3 runners on base. The winning pitcher was Jaimi Potter and the loser was Allen Forbes. Tramore Frazer of Invaders was 1-3 with 3 runs scored and 1 run batted.

Games scheduled for Sunday 02/05/10 were postponed due to rain and wet grounds and will be rescheduled.

    congrats Khyra on that boom . Send some of these young ladies to Orlando in January in the ladies tournament for experience.
