Police on St. Croix are investigating the armed robbery of Scotia Bank in Estate Diamond on Wednesday, October 26.
Police said a man, dressed as a woman robbed the bank of an unknown amount of cash and fled the store on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police were alerted at about 12:35 p.m. of the robbery. When they arrived on the scene witnesses told officers that a man dressed as a woman came into the bank and stood in line until he was called by the teller. Once at the teller the man showed her a handgun he had concealed in his clothes and told her to give him all her money, which she did.
The suspect left the bank and fled in a westerly direction.  The suspect was wearing a jeans dress with black dress pants underneath, black sneakers, a brown curly wig, black sunshades, and purple lipstick. There were about 10 persons in the bank at the time of the robbery, witnesses said.
Detectives and Forensic technicians investigated the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

too much tv
This isn’t funny ~ it is pathetic.
Some “man” thinks that by dressing as a woman, he can conceal his identity. That is more than a little disturbing don’t you think?
Time will be the true test but I believe that his Masquerade will actually be his undoing. I can GUARANTEE that this is NOT the first time he has dressed as a woman. SOMEBODY in “his” community knows who he is and he will be given up for the coward he is. He WILL be brought to justice. It’s only a matter of time.
This little woman impersonator has done this before for fun. So think hard people and do your part bring this jerk down! He HAS done this before ~ if only in fun!
No one noticed that before he/she was called to the window? Be vigilant people, be aware of your surroundings.
This ain’t meant to be funny but even men think you can get away with things as a woman….. He needs 15 years when caught and to only wear woman clothes in there!
Sure the teller get something to do with that
They should give him 10 years just on the purple lipstick
this is what movies like Madea have on the generation of today
lol..this is so funny, does this bank have only one teller????
its madea lol
hahahahahahaha funny
desperate times call for desperate measures smh
