ST. THOMAS: Police arrest three for beach assault

Criminal investigation Bureau detectives on St. Thomas have arrested two more suspects in connection to a Grand Larceny and Second Degree Robbery that occurred on July 6 at Cookie Point beach.
A 24-year-old female victim was assaulted and had her belongings taken from her by three other females. Police said the victim and suspects were friends at one time however, their relationship had degraded over time.
According to detectives, the victim was driven to the beach by a friend, Jenee Garcia, and once there, two other females, Sefrah Lewis and Calema Penn along with Jenee Garcia, assaulted the victim by hitting her with a 2×4 piece of wood all over her body. The suspects’ also stole the victim’s cell phone valued at just under $400 before leaving her on the beach alone.
The victim was later treated at the Schneider Regional Medical Center for bruises to her knew, elbows, stomach and thigh.
Sefrah Lewis, 29 was arrested on July 17, a few minutes before 5 p.m. and placed on a $45,000 bail. Calema Penn 24, and Jenee Garcia, 22, were arrested on July 25 and placed on $75,000 bail each.
In addition to the charges of Grand Larceny and Second Degree Robbery the suspects were also charged with Conspiracy and Third Degree Assault.
When the suspects attended their respective Advise of Rights hearings their bail was adjusted and they were released pending the trial date.

It seems to me who is commenting here doesn’t no what second degree robbery or any of the other charges means to be saying what y’all are saying about the accused suspects, if you notice the article says the incident happened on July 6 of 2012 the young ladies were arrested one on the 17th and the others on the 25th of july the mugshots to my knowledge are only taken when arrested so i may suppose the wigs has nothing to do with robbing at the time the incident took place I no these young ladies by seeing them and there hair Is always intact I assume the wigs were worn that day because of bad hair day reasons Not such a big deal if you ask me
