Acting Principal of the Elmore Stoutt High School Melissa Amey told members of the media that her School is using love to combat discipline related matters.

The Acting Principal spoke highly of the “love” disciplinary method at Minister for Education, Hon. Andrew Fahie’s update on educational initiative press conference; that was held on Tuesday afternoon.

She told a media representative who questioned how the school was dealing with such issues: “We are dealing disciplinary problems by loving the children. It might seem trivial to some, but it is working.”

The Acting Principal stated that since school authorities began showing the student’s that they care they have been improvements: “Most of the students have began to come around and are becoming the students we know they could be,” Amey said.

Miss Amey, the bible says that the greatest of these is love. The singer Ritical say dont care what we do LOVE IS THE GREATEST. A lot of these children are lacking love and they choose to vent their emotions out in anger.

Great Job continue to show the love.

    Ms. Amey,

We stand steadfast with you in implementing this Tool (LOVE).
it is a sturdy weapon that will eliminate “Violence” from among our children both at school and in the home.
Parents, if you have not started implementing LOVE as your number one defence against violence in your homes, start Now.
It will trickle down from home to school. Love will wipe out all violence and our children will be better young men and women of tomorrow.

Ms. Amey your are doing an excellent job.Keep pushing and continue to seek God as you strive to educate our future generation. We will work hand in hand with you and your staff. God bless you all. Be ever Faithful.

There is simply to much hurting people in our schools, churches and indeed our community. Love is a definite way of dealing with such a problem. I personally have tried it and have seen it work so continue to do your best and get your teachers on board. Once LOVE is fell your school environment would be a whole lot better.
