JANUARY 31—Naldo Anderson and Henroy Mitchell scored four goals respectively, as unbeaten and league leaders Islanders improved to 6-0 by crushing Ball Stars, 14-0—the highest score in the BVI Football Association National League play this season—topping Lucian Stars’ 12-1 rout of Old Madrid last week.
Ball Stars who won both the spring and fall Terry Evans Cup and the Wendol “Poto” Williams Cup, are without the services of three players who went off to Jr. College.
Anderson had scores in the 6, 30, 65 and 75th, while Mitchell connected in the 15, 38, 45 and 90th. Others getting in on the scoring act were; Aaron Bascombe, (44,87); Shane Henry (50), Raymond Cummings (68, 70) and Monty Butler, (80).
Colin Green had two goals (83,90) in leading One Love past the Panthers, 3-0, as they position for a playoff spot. Richard Morgan (38) was the other scorer.
The Sugar Boys had three different scorers during a 5-1 triumph over Old Madrid. Derral Redhead (10, 90) had two of the goals. Everton Perriera (40), Terince Baptiste, (58) and Micheal Castello (74) also added to the score.
Dion “Ragga” Clarke (25) was Old Madrid’s lone scorer.
Virgin Gorda United notched four goals from two players and handed Haitian Starz their sixth straight setback, this time 7-1, after leading 4-0 at halftime. David Baptiste (16,25) and Joel Williams, (59,69) scored twice each. Danny Joseph (4) put the first one on the board, with other goals coming from Kevon Mongery (12) and Akiba Creese (47).
James St. Anna (51) prevented Haitian Starz from getting another shout out.
On Virgin Gorda, visiting Wolues used James Sherman’s penalty kick in the 74th en route to beating Lucian Stars, 2-1. Matt Plumber’s goal two minutes after Bradley Henry (42) had tied the match at 1-1 heading into halftime.

they can aford 2 score 14, because the standard of football drop plus the real quality player stop play ball and the kind of football i am seening is very poor
