Wanted woman arrested after coming from the BVI

Police on St. John arrested 19-year-old Katarina Bogus Bennet (in photo) after she was identified by U.S Customs and Border Patrol officers as the subject of an arrest warrant originating from Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Bennet arrived on St. John on Monday, January 30 on a boat from the BVI. A routine Customs and Border Patrol inspection revealed that Bennet was wanted on drug charges in Ohio and she was detained. Police arrested Bennet at about 7:30 p.m. the same day.
According to the Ohio arrest warrant, if located, Bennet is to be arrested and returned to face charges in that state.

I’m glad our system didn’t have to deal with her. Let the US deal with their own criminals and we keep our money. Sick of them now.
That was an all-state arrest warrant – so I don’t know what she was involved in, who knows they might be just trying to get her to get the bigger guy??? that wasn’t just a warrant for smoking…
Yeah she might be sorry for what she did…but we have enough bad elements here..vehicle theft..night club shootings…what is that number again

I pity her. She is so young and look at what trouble she is in already. She looks distraught and helpless.

Ye who without sin/mistake, cast the first stone at this young lady, please. It is a crying shame how people, who are supposed to be humans, come on here bashing this young lady without knowing one thing about her. After all, she is human. She made a mistake and she’s paying for it, so let us leave her alone please. Do not rejoice at someone’s downfall because you dont know how or when yours is coming.

A name only has power when people, and their judgemental natures, give it power. They do not dictate a person’s character, their sense of values, or the actions they may choose to take in the future. You grow up as a product of your environment; the only difference in her situation being in that she was probably surrounded by people like you two.
I’m not surprised she got busted. Just by looking at this picture alone, you can figure out that this girl must be a crackhead!!! LOL

i think the government should set up a system that once ur wanted in a next country automatically it shows up on our system so u wont be granted entry into our country no escape route for wanted victims
@ yute Yes the BVI should have a direct link with the USVI data base they would have caught her when she entered the BVI
They are all coming here from all over, all class all color and all creed.
