Synopsis: 19th July 2012 – A tropical wave will exit the area this afternoon, resulting in much less unsettled weather then. However, a low level trough system will likely cause a bit more unsettled weather across the area tonight. Possible rainfall total for the next 24 hours is 15 mm or 0.59 inch.
Today: Mostly cloudy with periods of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Chance of showers is 80%; chance of thunderstorms is 20%.
Tonight: Partly cloudy with brief showers likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Chance of showers is 60%; chance of thunderstorms is 20%.
Winds: The wind will be east-northeast at 13 to 19 knots over land and 16 to 22 knots over open waters, exposed coastal areas and elevated terrains. Gusts of 25 to 30 knots are likely in showers.
Seas: The seas will be moderate with waves near 1.8 metres or 6 feet. Cautions are in effect for small craft operators and sea bathers.
Barometric Pressure: The atmospheric pressure is above normal.
