Opposition member and Third District representative Julian Fraser wants to know the date set by BiWater for delivering water into the government’s distribution system.
This is one of the questions Fraser will be asking Communications and Works Minister Mark Vanterpool at today’s sitting of the House. Fraser will also be asking the minister to provide the House with a copy of the BiWater report containing such information.
The Third District representative will also be asking the minister to inform the House if the New Sabbath Hill Reservoir built by BiWater has been commissioned.
Fraser will also ask Vanterpool which projects were approved by the Caribbean Development Bank and the House of Assembly for execution under the $15.7 million CDB loaned for infrastructural development; the cost of each project, and the schedule for the execution of these projects.
Opposition Leader Ralph O’Neal will also ask the Premier and Minister for Finance Dr. D. Orlando Smith to tell the House how many Tax Information and Exchange Agreements have been agreed to and signed between the governments of the Virgin Islands and European ,Central American, South American, Asian, South African countries and Canada during the period January 1, 2012 and July 24, 2012.
Also at today’s sitting the premier will move a motion for the suspension of standing order 52 (2) and (3) to allow for the second reading of the bill entitled ‘Proceeds of Criminal Conduct Amendment Act, 2012′.
The minister of health and social development will also move a motion for the second and third reading of the bill entitled ‘Social Security Amendment Act, 2012.
