Two young men who drew knives at each other during a heated argument were taken to the Magistrate’s Court on Monday to each face a charge of being armed with an offensive weapon.
On Saturday at about 5:00 p.m. Constable Glenn Callwood aka ‘Super Cop’ was on mobile patrol along Flemming Street public road, in the vicinity of O’Neal Gas Station, when he observed the defendants in a heated argument over two cellphones and were threatening to stab each other with the knife they were both holding.
The officer approached the defendants Jerry Castro and Kevon Baronville and advised them to put away the knives. Baronville allegedly placed his knife in his pocket while Castro kept holding his knife.
Castro told the officer that Baronville stole his phone and was refusing to give it back to him, while Baronville told the officer that Castro had his phone and was refusing to return it.
Officer Callwood called the Road Town Police Station for assistance and the young men ran away, but were later caught at various areas by officers.
Castro, who pleaded not guilty, was offered signed bail in the sum of $10,000 and was ordered to report to the Road Town Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Baronville, who pleaded guilty, was offered bail in the sum of $20,000 and was also ordered to report to the Road Town Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Lol…right he ain’t super man,but acts as one
one thing i most say he did a good job there but i think they should put he in the crime department, as brave as he is he should be able to do a good job there, BRAVE Callwood…
Good job but that bail was ridiculous. I’ve seen people pay less for worst things. We might need to get that checked out. $20,000 is a car and I can’t see why they paying that for having a knife which technical is something you can have once you’re not using it in a harmful way
I agree with you just foe having a knife at is redic
Hats off to super cop lol cuople more officers like him tola well be in check! haha
Couple*
Just dont give him a gun!
To jah- In this community no one is around when the robberies are taking place. people like you dont report crime. thats how police solve crimes. get involved in protecting this community and stop criticizing people who are trying to make a difference.
But why so much bail thou? Wow
I salute officer Callwood and I am pleased that the courts are treating knives as the dangerous weapons they are.
We need more officers like Callwood! He is the best – maybe one of the best in the world!
But this Officer is everywhere! LOL!! They can’t cut his increment at all!!
