Flow network rebuild making progress

PRESS RELEASE: Flow is pleased to advise the British Virgin Islands community that significant progress is being made in the rebuild of its network, with more than 60 percent of the infrastructure operational and customers being reconnected daily.

Fixed-line and broadband reconnections are now available in select areas at this time.

These areas are Road Town, Road Reef, Tobacco Wharf, Pasea Estate, Purcell Estate, Huntums Ghut, Macnamara, Lower Estate, as well as Virgin Gorda and growing.

Mobile services are approximately 90 percent pre-Irma capacity on the sister islands of Anegada and Virgin Gorda, while rebuild of the network continues on Jost Van Dyke and will improve once the power supply has been stabilised.

Country Manager, Colin MacDonald said: “We thank our residential and business customers for their patience as our teams have been working diligently to rebuild the network and restore fixed line and broadband services. We are pleased with the progress being made thus far, and we encourage residential and business customers in these locations to take advantage of Flow’s enhanced Triple Play Bundle packages that will soon offer unlimited broadband services, fixed lines and our evolutionary Flow TV.”

Customers and interested persons are invited to visit their nearest Flow Retail Store to make a reconnection or installation appointment with the Customer Experience Department, or email [email protected] to set up an appointment.

For business support, customers can call 1-800- 744-3778 or email [email protected] to access support services for their business operations.

In addition, Flow has introduced it’s Unlimited LTE Package which provides unlimited wireless internet to customers in locations where broadband and fixed line services have not yet been restored.

Flow — the only full-service telecommunications provider in the BVI — remains focused on restoring its telecommunications infrastructure in the British Virgin Islands, and supporting the Territory’s rebuilding efforts.
