Essynce Evans – District 4

I am 16 year-old Essynce Evans, a proud student of the Virgin Islands Schools of Technical Studies.

With hopes of making it BIG one day as a performing artist or cartoon impressionist, I am proud to be the selected representative for my beloved District 4 in the Gen-Y Factor: District Battle Edition!

I am inspired by God for being blessed with this talent.

I love art, reading and singing and seek inspiration through my grandparents, who have been very supportive in every aspect of my life.

I am mostly inspired by my mother because of her independence and how she continues to teach me the values of life.

Without her, I wouldn’t be able to be where I am today.

The 2017 Gen-Y Factor singing competition will be held 7pm at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall in Road Town on Saturday, June 17.
