Two men from Virgin Gorda, as well as two from the island of Tortola, have been arrested and charged in relation to different marijuana-related offences allegedly committed this month.
They are Kael Mandoza Palancares, 29-year-old Adrian Blackman, 24-year-old Kadeem O’Neal, and 30-year-old Carey Dore.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, in Arrest Blotters, did not give details of the allegations.
It said Blackman, who is a resident of Spooner’s Estate on Tortola, also faces non-marijuana charges.
He was arrested and charged on August 24 with unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to supply, driving without a driver’s license, and driving a motor vehicle with tinted windows.
Blackman has been granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 with one surety to appear in the Magistrate’s Court on October 6.
Kael Mandoza Palancares
The resident of Joe’s Hill on Tortola, Palancares, was arrested and charged on August 17.
He will appear in the Magistrate’s Court on September 29 to answer to charges of unlawful possession of marijuana, failing to comply with the traffic light, and driving without driver’s license.
He was granted bail in the sum of $7,500 signed by his surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.
In relation to another case, police said O’Neal, who is a resident of Valley in Virgin Gorda, is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
He was arrested and charged on August 20. O’Neal was granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 with signed surety for his appearance before the Magistrate’s Court on October 13.
In relation to Dore, who resides at the Valley on Virgin Gorda, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on October 3.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug on August 20.
