Emergency personnel were whipped into action yesterday afternoon as they rushed to Baughers Bay on Tortola where a child was said to be unresponsive.

An ambulance from Peebels Hospital went to the location for four year-old Nathaniel Malone.

Usually reliable sources have told BVI News Online that, when the child was taken to Peebles Hospital, efforts to revive him failed.

He was pronounced dead.

Medical personnel at the hospital reported the matter to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, which has launched an investigation.

It is said that the child had a certain medical condition.
