Following the staging of its Soap Box Derby, Caribbean Insurers Limited (CTL) is following through with its promise to donate proceeds of the event to no-profit organizations in the community.

So far, donations have been made to the BVI Cancer Society, Miss BVI Kadia Turnbull’s Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, as well as the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre.

The Centre, which caters to students with special needs, was given a cheque valued $1,600. The cheque was donated through CIL by the Morgan White Group. It will help to fund the creation of a water fountain at the learning centre by September this year.
