Harrigan now charged with Daway’s murder

Rafael Harrigan being escorted to court recently.

Rafael Harrigan has been charged with murder.

That officially makes the 27-year-old the third person accused of killing Trumayne Daway in Brandywine Bay late last month.

The other two accused persons are 21-year-old Maybelline Rodriguez and 26-year-old Vernon Bernard.

Up to recently, Harrigan’s involvement in the murder case was only for his alleged possession of the firearm used to kill Daway, and taking a conveyance without authority.

Police made the announcement of Harrigan’s fresh charge in a media release on Wednesday afternoon (March 14).

The murder

Police had found Daway unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in Brandywine Bay on Wednesday morning (February 28).

He had gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Kim Hollis recently described the other two accused (Bernard and Rodriguez) as the masterminds behind the murder.

Bernard and Rodriguez allegedly had WhatsApp conversations detailing parts of the plan to kill Daway.

It is alleged that the two accused also shared photos of the murder weapon during their conversations.

The DPP further alleged that Rodriguez was the honeytrap used to lure Daway, who wanted to have sex with the accused woman at the time.

Amen. Justice was served righteously. There’s still time for all three of them to seek God, repent and walk always in righteousness.

The powers that be needs to look into why prisoners are in possession of cellphones and are allowed to communicate with the outside world. You can only wonder what schemes some of them are planning while behind bars especially the child mole$ ter$ they deserve no privilege like cellphones, but I guess when you have family members working at said prison where you are incarcerated, you’re allowed whatever you want.
