I need to know if a good friend of mine Captain Reed Bosze from Tortola is safe. He was at home alone up to one hill near the main town…many thanks for your help and I pray for everybody. My heart is full of sorrow.

The worst of it, is that there is NO communication method of any kind on Tortola. Most of the cell towers are down. Every building has damage. Every pole I saw is down. The BVIEC will be starting from the beginning to get electricity back to the people. We will recover but it won’t be tomorrow, it won’t be next week, it won’t be next month.

Please let in basic food and hygiene aid as everyone there has lived through the worst experience in their lives. Do not deprive them of food and disinfectant wipes at a time like this.
Be reasonable and let go of the unnecessary paperwork! Use some common sense and discretion!
