The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) said unstable weather conditions will continue this week in light of a tropical wave looming around British Virgin Islands.
The territory has been experiencing a considerable amount of rainfall in recent times.
Here is the full release from the DDM today:
A tropical wave interacting with a deep layer trough will continue to generate some unstable conditions across the area.
Cloudy spells and periodic showers are expected through tomorrow mainly before midday and mainly across the Leeward Islands. Starting late Thursday, low level convergence will result in cloudy skies, showers, and a moderate chance of thunderstorms across the area; some of these showers are likely to be heavy; at least, minor flooding is possible.
Winds: Mainly easterly at six to 14 knots.
Seas: Moderate with heights not exceeding six feet. Beachgoers should exercise caution, mainly on the Atlantic side of the islands.
