Public meeting to analyze recovery plan

BULLETIN: Third District Representative Honourable Julian Fraser invites all Third District Residents and the wider BVI public to the Valerie O. Thomas Community Center this Wednesday evening at 7pm to learn the facts and the figures in the Recovery and Development Plan.

His presentation and discussion will go beyond the Government’s consultation meetings, giving you a clear understanding whether a decision to commit yourselves to borrow and spend on a $721 million undertaking is the right thing to do, given our current emotional, economic, and physical state.

A critical look will be given as to how those monies benefit the Third District in particular, and what the people of the Virgin Islands stand to gain in general.

Please come prepared to ask questions, raise concerns and make suggestions. Your comments will be noted and forwarded to the committee for consideration.

Again, that meeting is this Wednesday February 21 at 7pm at Valerie O Thomas Community Center Sea Cows Bay. It will also be broadcast live on ZBVI.
