Photos: Shameful!

Members of the community have expressed dissatisfaction with what they consider to be the lukewarm response of the government regarding the cleansing of water directly around one of the territory’s main ports of entry – the Road Town Jetty.

They said almost daily cleansing is required especially now that Sargassum seaweed is again washing up in the area.

According to residents, the seaweed, which is unsightly and sends off a noxious odour, is being allowed to decay – making the situation worse. The photos published here were captured a few days ago.
