It will be ‘Revival Time’ tomorrow evening (March 4) at the Sir Briercliffe Hall in Road Town, Tortola.

The two headlining Gospel artistes out of Jamaica – David ‘Kukudoo’ McDermott and Sister Patt – have promised an all-in-one performance.

They have guaranteed performances that are both entertaining and rich in blessing.

“The British Virgin Islands residents can come out and expect a holy ghost, revival service, deliverance, healing, everything in one because this is what our traditional Gospel songs brings,” said Sister Patt in an interview with BVI News Online.

She added, “If you come and you are feeling down, it will revive you to an extent that when you go home you wanna say ‘I am glad I came.”

The Gospel artiste noted that everyone should attend because her ministry is not prejudicial.

She also described her music as having no barriers as it relates to denomination. “I worship Christ – no labels; no barriers.”

Her songs include: Massa God A God, The Mighty Man A Come, and Rock My Soul.

“Persons from every denomination require my services because, when we call for Revival, we mean ‘get up, shake the tambourine, take off your shoes, spin around, shake off the stress, shake off depression, and just worship God’. That is what Sister Patt does,” added Sister Patt.

Similar sentiments have been expressed by Minister Kukudoo, who added that persons who attend the Gospel concert are in for a Revival-style treat.

One of his most popular song is King David (See People Business and Leave It Alone).

Meanwhile other artistes slated to take the stage at Revival Time tomorrow include locals Omar Benjamin, Allison Hucey, as well as Gabrielle ‘Denae’ Hoyte who recently copped a Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Award in the Bahamas for her single ‘Pave the Way’.

“It is a more upbeat Revival sort of setting,” said Paul ‘Gadeithz’ Peart, a representative from the event promoter FreshRadio Vybz. “It is a Gospel religious event, and it’s geared at people who are searching for a bit of comfort when it comes on to higher forces; high powers,” Paul added.
