Telecoms company brings relief to pregnant women

Pregnant women and parents of infants are today expected to get relief from telecommunication providers CCT, which has launched a baby supplies distribution campaign.

Marketing Manager at CCT Recaldo Richardson said the initiative is a collaborative effort between themselves and the USVI Boxing Association, Westline Productions, as well as Tortola Fast Ferry.

“We are going to be distributing some baby materials, tarps, food stuff. So we are just asking everyone to come out and get what they need,” he said.

Care packages for pregnant women are among other items being distributed today at the parking lot of CCT’s flagship store in Road Town. Distribution will run from 11:30am to 5pm.

Meanwhile, Richardson said today marks the second time since the hurricanes that the company has undertaken relief distribution. He added that the campaign will continue in the coming weeks.
