Vehicle hits man near Pussers

A Caucasian man has been hospitalized after being hit by a motor vehicle in Road Town this evening.

He was reportedly struck by a pick-up truck near Pusser’s Pub on Waterfront Drive, BVI News Online understands.

Eyewitnesses said the man was brought to Peebles Hospital in an ambulance.

His condition is not known to BVI News Online at this time.

    I’m a frequent visitor to Pussers and I am always nervous when crossing that pedestrian crossing.

    If it’s there that the accident occurred, I won’t be surprised as drivers rarely stop when you’re standing there waiting to cross the street.
