Jamaican dancehall artiste Dexta Daps may not have performed last week as was originally scheduled but the ‘7Eleven’ singer proved he was worth the wait when he dominated the festival village and closed the show on a high note Friday morning, August 10.

He shared the stage with acts such as VI Elite, Shine I, Pressure, and co-winners of the 2018 Road March Competition, Extreme Band.

He captivated the eager patrons with evident crowd favourites such as Jealous Ova, 7Eleven, Mi C Mi Bed N Miss You, Shabba Madda Pot, Owner, and Ride it.

During his performance, Daps removed his long-sleeved floral shirt and threw it into the crowd; creating a frenzy among his female fans.

His performance ended close to 3 am with fans screaming for more; seemingly oblivious to the approach of dawn.
