23-year-old charged for seriously injuring man with machete

One person has been slapped with two charges for seriously injuring another man with a machete over the weekend.

Charged with Causing Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent and Armed with an Offensive Weapon is 23-year-old Shavoy Dascent of Josiah’s Bay.

According to a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police, the incident occurred shortly after midnight outside Edge Nightclub in Long Bush on Saturday, June 1.

Details are still unclear, but Dascent and the man he injured had an altercation at the club, and Dascent allegedly attacked the other man with a machete.

“The injured male was transported to Dr Orlando Smith Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. He remains admitted in stable but serious condition,” the RVIPF stated.

    So you go clubbing with a machete on your person?
    Well,maybe he had plans to go directly from Club to his cane field and do some cutting . Or maybe he keeps his machete in his car for easy access for his work.

    Hence, a complete ban from the citizens of that country must be instituted before they chop up one of our ow.

    The chop up and subsequent suicide of the perpertrator of the teacher lady from East End, (the Premier’s back yard,) (i can’t remember her name, she survived the attachon her life, but came out of it with a missing hand, some time back

    She is my colleague and friend. And, the immigration policy makers since the attack on her life, right next to the Premier’s family property, has done nothing to reform the intake of certain peoples from cetain known countries, for excessive violence tendencies, ie. Jamaice and St. Vincent, from being processed into this our country.
