Active COVID-19 cases down to one

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the BVI has reduced to one.

Health Minister Carvin Malone made the announcement today October 6, adding that the territory continues preparation to reopen its borders since no new COVID-19 cases have been detected.

“These low-to-no active cases are a good indication that the public is complying to all the health and safety protocols and measures that the government has put in place. It is also a good indication of our readiness for re-opening in the weeks ahead, which will give our economy the boost that it needs,” the Health Minister said.

The BVI’s COVID-19 recoveries stand at 69 while the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded is 71. One person has died of the virus.

The Health Minister, in the meantime, has commended the continued work of health teams, the joint task force, as well as the private and public alliances who’ve helped to reduce the number of active COVID-19 cases in the territory.

Persons who are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 are reminded not to visit any healthcare facility but are encouraged to contact the Medical Hotline at 284- 852-7650 for an assessment and an appointment for COVID-19 testing.

Common symptoms include fever, cough, headache, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, muscle aches, or difficulty breathing.

So let’s see. No testing equates to no Covid. If you do have symptoms are you going to tell anyone? No of course not since they will lock you and your family down and blame you for sitting in a bar or bringing in illegals from St Thomas. What a laughing stock of the Caribbean and the world you are. You put into office a d****tor that does nothing but what suits him and his p****ts. If you voted for this c***n because of the $7mil that went missing, well wait for the fallout from this b****on. He’s going to make that look like chump change.

And the global charade continues. Let’s see if they’re going to blame the flu season ‘flu deaths’ on COVID as well.

The few critics do not want to admit that the VIP Government has handled this CoronaVirus issue better than most of the world. Good going Premier.
