Aircraft and drugs seized in Anegada bust

Police have reportedly seized a large quantity of suspected drugs following an operation conducted in Anegada earlier today.

It is not clear at this time whether any arrests were made as a result of the ongoing investigations.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said a joint operation between US Authorities and RVIPF officers was conducted earlier today in Anegada and an aircraft along with a significant amount of a substance suspected to be cocaine were seized in the operation.

Police did not disclose any details about the area where the plane was found and whether any suspects were being sought in the matter.

The force noted that investigations are active and said this meant that no other information is available at this time.

Good job, but there’s plenty more to clean up to make the BVI a haven of peace again.

Not really new news. Drugs flowing through here every day.

Anegada customs and immigration officers just not in on the take the way Tola officers are. A proven history of them letting things pass through. I saw it first hand in west end off the ferry

What’s new? The following is definitely not.

News flash! The BVI, USVI, PR. South America and the rest of the world have been connected to the narco business before the word was even invented.

    So,, what’s new?

For as long as there is a demand around the globe, there will be business.

A new approach and humanistic policies need to be generated and implimented. Decriminalization should be the first step.

It was done for alcohol. Why not for the weed and caine.
