Parties and candidates that participated in the just-concluded General Elections are being told they have a week to dismount the billboards that they erected across the territory.

The Planning Authority said all billboards must be removed by Monday, March 4.

Whiling noting that their instructions are in accordance with the territory’s Physical Planning Act of 2004, the Authority said: “Failure to comply with the requirement will result in enforcement action being taken by the Planning Authority”.

The Authority issued the warning on Tuesday, fewer than 24 hours after the general election.

The Andrew Fahie-led Virgin Islands Party emerged as the victors of those elections.

Find another use for this new barely used lumber. Plenty of people could use it. Don’t trash it
