Police arrested nine persons between February 4 and 18 this year for various criminal offences.
The accused offenders are facing charges spanning from burglary and assault to unlawful drug possession.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, in its latest arrest blotter, listed those persons and charges as follows:
On February 5, police arrested and charged 34-year-old Donald Michael Hanley for criminal damage.
Unlawful possession of a controlled drug
On February 9, Police jointly charged 21-year-old Leidy Rhymer and 24-year-old Aaron Joseph for unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
Joseph was placed on remand while Rhymer was granted bail for a later appearance before Magistrate’s Court.
Drew Farrell was charged on February 15 for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. He received $10,000 police bail and will appear in Magistrate’s Court on April 26.
Raykeem Thomas of The Valley on Virgin Gorda was also placed on bail for unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 and is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on April 26.
Police arrested and charged 37-year-old Akil Anthony for burglary. The Long Bay resident was arrested on February 15.
Fifty-three-year-old Matthew Daly of Hodge’s Creek was charged last Tuesday with theft. He has since appeared before the Magistrate’s Court where he was granted $60,000 signed bail.
Police also arrested and charged Richard Jack of Pasea Estate for theft.
Assault occasioning actual bodily harm
On February 15, police arrested and charged Seanna Jack of Brady Ghut for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
