Arrest Blotter: Gun, theft, and assault charges

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is reporting 10 arrests between May 20 and June 2.

The accused persons were implicated for a number of reported charges ranging from firearm offences, to assault, among other things.

In its latest arrest blotter, the RVIPF listed those persons and their charges as follows:

Burglary

On May 26, police arrested and charged 18-year-old K’Shoy Alexander of Huntums Ghut with the offence of burglary and criminal damage.

Two days later, law enforcers nabbed 22-year-old Baughers Bay resident Juwan Potter for the same offences.

On June 2, police arrested 28-year-old East End man Kyle Baronville for burglary and handling stolen goods.

Possession of illegal firearm

Forty-two-year-old Neil St Rose was charged with possession of an illegal firearm on May 26.

Forty-four-year-old North Sound resident Richard Creque was charged on that same day with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to injure.

Assault occasioning actual bodily harm

On May 28, police arrested and charged 22-year-old Belle Vue resident Arien Fahie with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Fahie was granted $7,000 signed bail for a later appearance in the Magistrate’s Court.

Police also arrested St Vincent native Paul Jack for assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was granted bail for his court appearance on July 27.

Common Assault

On May 30, police arrested and charged 27-year-old Franklin Fahie, Jr, for common assault and threatening language. He was granted bail for his court appearance on July 17.

On May 31, police also charged a 17-year-old male of Joe’s Hill for theft.

Criminal Damage

On June 2, law enforcers arrested and charged Shanan Peters of Long Bush for criminal damage.
