ARREST BLOTTER: January 1 to 7
The following is the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force’s list of people charged from January 1 to 7, 2017:
Unlawful possession of a controlled drug
1. On 01-01-2017 at 0039hrs – Police arrested and charged Laren Turnbull, 47, resident of Soldiers Hill for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
2. On 01-01-2017 at 0215hrs – Police arrested and charged Kabasha Martin, 30, resident of Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Cocaine.
3. On 06-01-2017 at 1145hrs – Police arrested and charged Jevon Reid, 28, of Duff Bottom for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug.
Disorderly conduct
On 01-01-2017 at 0940hrs – Police arrested and charged Elston Duane McClean, 46, of Round Hill for Disorderly Conduct.
Criminal damage
1. On 03-1-2017 at 0903hrs – Police arrested and charged Keith Panthier, 42, a native of Dominica, and Tonia Davis, 41, a native of the USA, both residing in West End for Criminal Damage and Assault. Panthier and Davis were both granted bail in the sum of $2,000 each to appear before the Magistrates’ Court on 10-02-2017.
2. On 03-1-2017 at 0919hrs – Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old female, residing in West End for Criminal Damage. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 signed by one surety for her appearance in the Magistrates’ Court on 10-02-2017 at 0900hrs.
Common Assault
On 3-1-2017 at 1700hrs – Police arrested and charged Jordan Jack of Purcell Estate for Assault. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Magistrates’ Court on 03-02-2017 at 0900hrs.
Throwing missiles
On 06-01-2017 at 1030hrs – Police arrested and charged Raheem Smith, 24, of Shepherd Hill, East End for the offence of Throwing Missiles. He was subsequently granted bail in the sum of $1,000 for his appearance before the Magistrates’ Court on the 17-02-2017 at 0900hrs.
