The BVI Autism Centre is the recipient of a new 2017 Suzuki Vitara vehicle, courtesy the Rotary Club of Tortola.

The vehicle is to be used to transport staff to work with clients around the island of Tortola.

The initiative was spearheaded by Past Rotary President and First Lady Lorna Smith, following a request made in November 2016 by the Autism Centre’s Programme Director Lorna Dawson.

Those who contributed towards purchasing the vehicle included members of the community, the Rotary Club of Road Town, Rotary Club Sunrise, and Rotaract Club of Tortola.
