Bad mindedness! Fraser scolds selfish scholarship recipients

Fraser

Opposition Leader Julian Fraser has chided persons who received scholarships through district representatives but are now suggesting that the process should face closer scrutiny.

According to Fraser, some persons have been saying that legislators have been wasting the taxpayers’ money, but the Third District Representative pushed back on this.

“You didn’t know we were wasting government money when you took the scholarship to go to school. Now that you got the scholarship and educated, you’re coming back running your mouth,” Fraser said. “You got a scholarship but you don’t want anyone else to get anything else?”

Fraser described those traits as selfishness and bad mindedness.

“They say bad mindedness is next to witchcraft. It’s the same thing with the Ellis Thomas Downs where people are there talking about compulsory acquisition – bad mindedness,“ Fraser argued.

Fraser previously clashed with former legislator and local cultural icon Eileene Parsons, who argued that the ongoing Ellis Thomas Downs land impasse should be resolved by forcefully taking the land from the owner

Parsons expressed that one of the land owners has been holding the territory hostage, preventing the much-loved and traditional sport of horseracing from being conducted at the BVI’s lone horse racing facility based in Fraser’s electoral district.

Premier Dr Natalio Wheatley, after noting that the land owners drastically increased the rate for the lease, said his government will continue in negotiate with them to resolve the issue.

Fraser wants the country to be hostage to his bad mindedness and selfish pursuits of his family and cronies. Race course is a classic example of why Government should own the land before spending on it.

Why has there been no arrest and charge on the sea cows bay Harbour project? Public funds was used on private property owned by this man. His family members got the contracts and did not do the work. The audit report said all of this. The country did not benefit from the project only him and his company. The UK just seem to be going after who they want to destroy.

You mean it is a classic case of a poorly negotiated contract. Whoever negotiated and signed that contract should be held accountable.

It appears to me that ever since Mr. Frasier assumed the position of Opposition Leader it appears he has developed a severe case of verbal diarrhea.

He might wish to drink a cup of flower water to counteract that. I would not want to see him as a consequence develop severe dehydrated.

Right on most of what you wrote/posted except the cell phone.

Cell phone costs and rates are in the stratosphere. They are way to expensive and government is yet to unvail any legislationto protect consumers from the nbelievable gouging and thieving that occur in this place daily masquarading as business. Both business and government areone and the same. So consumers are appealing to a sky God for relief. Good luck with that.
