The director of flight operations at BVI Airways, Bradley Goggin, has been released from Peebles Hospital.

He was stretchered from the airline’s headquarters in Road Town last Friday, and taken in an ambulance to the medical facility.

When BVI News Online spoke with Goggin yesterday (April 2), he was using crutches.

He said he is recovering well.

“I was admitted to hospital Friday and the staff at Peebles Hospital were amazing. They looked after me and I was discharged Saturday. I am on my crutches for a week, and I am recovering well. I am still on office duties,” he said, but declined to disclose the cause of his injury.

Goggin, who relocated to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) recently, is playing a crucial role in BVI Airways’ move to commence direct flights between the BVI and Miami in the United States.

“Things are progressing well, and we are waiting for approval from the United States government authority,” Goggin told BVI News Online yesterday.
