The Main Post Office located at the Maduro Building in Road Town.

The reciprocal International Postal Money Order service between the United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Virgin Islands Postal Service (BVI Post) is being discontinued.

Acting Postmaster General Iris Romney said this discontinuation will take effect on Friday, October 1.

A media release from BVI Post said all international postal money orders that USPS issues up to Thursday, September 30 will be valid for one year and will become null and void thereafter.

“All International Postal Money Orders held by customers can be cashed at any post office throughout the Virgin Islands,” the release stated.

BVI Post did not disclose why the service was being terminated.

Smh what can she do ? The US have their rules. Although the USVI has tried to work with us for years the Federal US similarly with the vaccine does not want the bending of their rules to assist foreign territories unless federally approved.
