Carrot Bay man reported missing
The public’s assistance is being sought in locating a 50-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday, June 29.
Information verified by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are that Junior Peters, a Jamaican living in the BVI, was last seen in the Horse Path area of Tortola on Saturday.
He was engaged in landscaping activities at a private residence.
“His tools/machines and other items were located at the house and a substance believed to be blood also seen,” a statement circulating on social media read.
When contacted Tuesday morning, Police Information Officer Akia Thomas confirmed that the RVIPF has received a missings person’s report on the matter.
She further said the information being circulated is accurate.
Persons with any information that may lead to ascertaining Peters’ whereabouts are asked to contact the RVIPF’s three-digit access number at 311 or visit the nearest police station.
