Carrot Bay men charged for marijuana
Two residents of Carrot Bay have been arrested and charged with illegal possession of marijuana stemming from separate police operations.
They are 61-year-old Alden Potter and 28-year-old Marley Donovan.
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, both men were arrested and charged on June 3.
In relation to Donovan, it is said that he was held at the festival grounds in Carrot Bay, and the illegal substance allegedly found in his motor vehicle.
He has been granted bail in the sum of $2,000 with one signed surety, and will appear in the Magistrate’s Court on July 7.
In the other case, police nabbed Potter during an operation near Sappy’s Bar.
He was granted bail in the sum of $3,500 with one signed surety, and will answer to the charge when he goes before the Magistrate’s Court on July 7.
