Recaldo ‘Ricki’ Richardson is the new Marketing Manager, and Sheroma Hodge-Philip is Public Relations Supervisor.
Richardson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with concentration on Marketing from the University of the Virgin Islands. He is recipient of the 2011 American Advertising Federation of the US Virgin Islands ADDY Award – Student Best of Show.
Regarding his promotion, Richardson said: “I am honoured to lead this great brand, and I am committed to working to drive forward our strategic marketing and business priorities to better serve our customers.”
Prior to his promotion, Richardson served as Product Promoter at the telecoms company.
Sheroma Hodge-Philip, in the meantime, holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Media and Communication from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. She is recipient of the 2010 Top Multimedia Student Award from the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) at the said university.
Hodge-Philip has worked in the media and communications field for more than 12 years. She previously served as graphic designer at CCT.
Both Richardson and Hodge-Philip succeed Janette Brin, who held the post of Marketing and Public Relations Manager.
Brin, who has been appointed Centre Manager at the BVI International Arbitration Centre, left CCT after serving almost a decade in the telecommunications industry.
Commenting on Brin’s departure, CCT BVI’s Chief Executive Officer Averad Penn said: “On behalf of the Board, I sincerely thank Janette for her valuable contributions and outstanding service throughout her career at CCT. We will be indebted for her passionate leadership, business acumen, and dedication.”
