CCT unveils mural
PRESS RELEASE – Drivers and pedestrians journeying along the Sir Walter Francis Drive Highway got a welcoming treat yesterday afternoon passing by CCT.
The telecoms provider revealed its new exhibition style window murals that place spotlight on Virgin Islanders who have made a significant impact on our history.
“As always we pride ourselves on being the BVI brand. And with that we recognize the importance of encouraging country pride. It’s something we should never be shy about – and so I think this mural helps us to keep that top of mind. While depicting how technology has brought us forward in a number of ways through CCT’s contributions, the mural also serves as a great educational piece for young people,” said Janette Brin, Marketing & PR Manager.
CCT’s Marketing Team definitely had a lot of fun pulling this project together.
The telecoms provider hopes that young people in particular will be inspired to find out more about the persons featured and even the persons not featured.
To encourage this, CCT currently has a social media campaign giving customers a chance to win free credit if they are able to name persons on each panel plus state what they are known for.

Brin went on to credit her team for their assistance in developing the overall concept for the mural. Namely Sheroma Hodge-Philip, Recaldo Richardson, and Alberto Hewlett who was the illustrator on the project.
