Man charged for driving without taxi permit
A resident of Cane Garden Bay on Tortola, Andrie Lanns, has been slapped with various charges that include driving a taxi without a taxi driver’s permit.
He is also charged with driving over a side-walk, refusing to provide specimen of blood or urine, and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, Lanns has been granted police bail in the sum of $2,000.
He will answer to the charges when he appears in the Magistrate’s Court next month.
The RVIPF did not give details of the case, but it noted that the arrest was made on March 24.
