Drug charges! Name of political candidate’s son in arrest blotter
The name of the son of a Virgin Islands Party (VIP) candidate has appeared in the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force’s (RVIPF) latest arrest blotter for drug-related offences.
According to the blotter, 28-year-old Aaron Headley of Diamond Estate was arrested and charged on March 17 for Possession of A Controlled Drug and Possession of A Controlled Drug with intent to Supply.
Other details of the arrest were not outlined in the blotter but highly-placed sources told our news centre that Headley was apprehended during a police operation in the Ghetto/Crabbe Lot area of Road Town on the day in question.
BVI News understands that Headley was among a small group of other persons who were arrested during the operation. Reports to our news centre are that more than 90 grams of green vegetable matter suspected to be cannabis was recovered.
Sources say the items in question were recovered from Headley’s vehicle and were found in an unspecified number of dime bags.
It is not clear when Headley is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges.

BVI News this is low. He is an adult person (28 years) according to your story. Why on earth is the actions of an adult person being used to malign their parent. Do you have news that his mother was involved in his criminal activity? Or news that his connection to her is somehow getting him preferential treatment in the justice system? If the answer is no to both the aforementioned questions….then this really should not be news.

If People will only think for themselves and make decisions based on facts and the intended actions of Personnel contesting this Election, we could hopefully end up with an Administration that will fully have the People’s interest at hand.
Labeling all within a Party does not fairly justify the character of an Individual. So therefore People need to focus on Candidates as an individual and not focus on Political Party Affiliation. The mentality of most will cause the demise of Political Aspirants by contrast ing them as the Political Party in whole.
