East End police brings Christmas to the community
The following is a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.
The East End Police Station was the place to be last Tuesday evening as the East End Police Officers, through community and corporate sponsors, wrapped Christmas in a bow for the district.
Over the course of the seven-hour event, well over 500 people came to the station’s parking lot.
Many hearts and stomachs were filled with food and drinks as the Shooting Stars Steel Band, along with Sergeants Tommy Daniel and Collis Fraser entertained.
Children of all ages received Christmas presents, got their faces painted and played on the bouncy castles.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force continues its efforts to connect with the community territory-wide and bridge the gap between police and the community through various outreach events and programmes.
The Force is able to do so with the support and donations of local businesses and the community at large.
