Gov’t, CDB hosting workshop for potential contractors
In a move seemingly aimed at attracting as many local contractors and suppliers towards the government projects that are opening up across the territory, a workshop for is being held for these contractors this week.
The workshop is an educational exercise to inform them on how to prepare successful bids for these projects.
The initiative is a collaborative effort between local government, the United Nations Development Programme, and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), which is supplying the territory with a $65 million loan to fund the projects.
The workshop will be held at the Top Priority Security conference room on Thursday, October 11 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Interested entities are required to register for the workshop by emailing [email protected] or calling (284) 468-5930.
The initiative comes weeks after government issued an appeal for more local contractors to participate in the various bidding processes for government contracts.
