Would-be deportee escapes custody at airport
Information reaching BVI News is that a Haitian national escaped Immigration custody late last month.
Highly placed sources told our news centre the illegal immigrant was scheduled to leave the territory on February 27 and while at the Terrance B Lettsome International Airport, he managed to slip from the custody of Immigration officers.
BVI News understands searches in the surrounding areas of the airport have been futile.
The police have not informed the public that an escapee is at large.

It’s not difficult to escape custody.
All one needs to do is run for at least 20 seconds and officers will give up. They tire easily and retreat quickly to air conditioning to prevent sweat stains.
You mean to tell me some thing like this happen and not even a poster of the person put up so that the public can help.Suppose we give that same person a ride. Come on we got to do better than this. Immigration needs training when it comes to these kind of matters because this is happening to often.You cant be making the same mistakes over and over.

Somebody always getting away from immigration custody now-a-days…downright embarrassing.
So is he/she tall, short, WHAT?

This has nothing to do with the Police, he was in the custody of Immigration Officers
Walters and the Hill man would have had his a** on the plane for sure.

Immigration and Customs don’t like to see Police officers at the Airport, especially Customs.
Police do, they get blame, Police don’t do they still blame. What is ah you issue in this BVIs. Tell me. This place have more church than a lot of islands bas on size and population but ah you more wicked than wicked.

I don’t understand why on God’s EARTH that you all wants to go to St. Thomas,St. John’s, St.Croix Florida, Atlanta and born ah you children get all type of rights but ah you HATE other people so. Especially black people. My God.
