Hodge misses out on World Champs finals

BVI sprinter Adaejah Hodge

Teenage sprint sensation Adaejah Hodge will not advance to the finals of the women’s 200-metre dash of the World Athletic Championships happening in Budapest, Hungary.

Hodge missed out on a spot in finals after finishing seventh in her semi-finals race yesterday.

She finished in a time of 22.96 seconds.

At 17 years old, Hodge was the youngest on the track.

The Virgin Islander, however, did not go unnoticed by the championships’ commentators who were impressed with Hodge’s level of talent – having made it to semi-finals of a senior global championship at only 17 years old.

This confirms the youngster as one of this best 200-metre female sprinters on the planet this year.
