Investigation launched into cause of VG house fire

An investigation has been launched into the cause of fire that occurred on Little Dix Bay Road, Virgin Gorda, on June 19.

According to Chief Fire Officer Zebalon McLean, neighbours reported the fire at around 2 o’clock in the morning. The blaze gutted a wooden residential structure approximately 60 feet by 30 feet in size.

There have been no reported injuries or fatalities.

Chief McLean stated that the cause of the fire is still unknown as the investigation is in its early stages.

More information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
