Years ago, I was the ONLY witness to a serious accident caused by an insane driver who was doing in excess of 80 MPH at the junction of The Sir Francis Drake Hwy and the road to Frenchman’s Cay.

A small truck/van was overturned on it’s side as a result. The crazy man clipped his front end. I helped the man trapped inside the vehicle climb out through the driver’s window which was now the top of the vehicle. The crazy person never stopped. He just kept on driving.

I waited for the police to arrive and when I told them I had witnessed the accident and had additional information for them, they shooed me away and told me I wasn’t needed. I told them I had the license plate number … and they told me “That’s nice.”

A lightbulb went on and the reason for their disinterest in any info I could offer became very apparent. That accident never even made the papers. I felt so sorry for that poor guy. 🙁

Make me beatch, want to be acting tough online but pull up in real life and your mouth shut

  7. Common Sense says:

Where was the Jeep located at the scene? Where was the bike? Can’t you figure out who was driving recklessly from those positions?

  8. Sherlock Holmes at work! says:

Car was in the left lane. Big dent in the center of the car. Do you need to finger print now!?
This police ‘investigation’ is nonsense. The scooters are driving on the wrong side. Passing on a curve. Removing they muffler. Driving with no helmet.
I see this EVERYDAY. How is it the police miss all this!? The noise. The hoodlums that delivers weed. It is ALL scooter boys. We don’t need Sherlock Holmes to figure this out!
Police – start doing your job! When you see this behavior, arrest them. You might save their life later.

  9. Common sense says:

The pics n vids shows to my understanding that rider swerved into car traveling upwards. Some riders especially young ones rides like it’s no tomorrow and going down hill with such speed cause unexperience riders to swerve onto other side of road causing them to loose control.

  10. UMMM says:

    Wouldn’t the witnesses be:

    1. The person he apparently overtook;
    2. The person he collided with; and
    3. Persons in vehicles immediately behind both of those vehicles coming from opposite direction (and it all depends on circumstances they may have not been in a position to see what exactly took place).

  11. Left number says:

The ambulance took too long to arrive. 20 mins from hospital to fort hill??

  12. Let's be real says:

Because many of you do not understand how investigations work, you talk nonsense. What if the tire was smooth or oil in the road that cause the young man to slip what if he was under the influence. Even if we see what we can see with our eyes, you still need to know the cause. Allow the the police to do there work. Please anyone who can help the police do so kindly.

  13. Gadaman. says:

Was this an accident or a homicide? Investigators should be embarrassed to even ask for witnesses. Third world rinky dink sh!t.
