Italian dining to be introduced to CGB Beach Hotel
Mark Vanterpool of MHV Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to add an Italian dining experience to the newly acquired Cane Garden Bay Beach Hotel.
The beach hotel was formerly known as Quito’s Luxury Inn but was rebranded after the MHV Group acquired the property. During the official opening ceremony on Friday, November 29, Vanterpool indicated that while he does not intend to make any major changes, he has plans to introduce an exclusive dining experience for guests at CGB Beach Hotel.
“We’re going to make a few [small] changes in the future, for example, the hotel here will have its own restaurant on top and part of the reception area will be turned into a small Italian-style, high-end restaurant in the next twelve months or so,” Vanterpool stated.
“Quito, as you know, was a very famous, and still is a very popular entertainer. He was also the person who was very hospitable and gave good service to his group. We want to continue in that vein but offer a much higher standard of service,” he continued.
During the ceremony, Vanterpool also shared that MHV Group plans to acquire more properties, with the goal of creating a global franchise. CGB Beach Hotel is among their first purchases in this new phase of expansion.
Cane Garden Bay Beach Hotel boasts one penthouse suite, three king-size rooms, six oceanfront suites, six queen-size rooms, three twin rooms, and two pool water penthouse suites.

As it is some good ole rustic and authentic Italian food. Make sure Gelato is on the menu as well.
Highly in agreement. I would definitely patronize. Hope they have freshly made pasta and Gnocchi.
Would like to see the continued exclusion of African, Carribean and others cusine be removed from international cusine on the menu as well.
in Pockwood Pond went out of business this year. Other than pizza there does not seem to be much of a demand for Italian meals in the BVI.
