Kathlyn Archibald-Drew – District 1

Hi, I am Kathlyn Archibald-Drew.

I hail from the serene lands of District One and serve as a proud student of Cedar International.

My family first recognised my ability to sing when I was only three years old.

By 11, I had my first moment performing in public – nerve-wracking to the say the least, but monumental nonetheless.

My musical inspiration, without a doubt, would have to be Beyoncé. Though she is not my favourite artist (India Arie is), I first felt inspired to utilize my God-given talent of singing because of her.

My preferred genre of music is Pop, R&B and Soul.

As it pertains to singing, in the next five to 10 years, I see myself performing at the Superbowl Half-Time show.

The 2017 Gen-Y Factor singing competition will be held 7pm at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall in Road Town on Saturday, June 17.
