Lee approaching hurricane strength

A tropical storm, expected to intensify into what the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has described as an “extremely dangerous hurricane” by the end of the week, is projected to pass by the British Virgin Islands in the upcoming days.

As of 5 am this morning, Tropical Storm Lee was situated near latitude 13.7 North and longitude 44.6 West. Lee is currently moving in a west-northwest direction at a speed of approximately 16 mph.

Forecasters anticipate that this west-northwest trajectory will persist over the next few days, albeit with a minor decrease in its forward speed. Lee’s maximum sustained winds have increased to nearly 65 mph, with the likelihood of further strengthening in the forecast.

Lee is expected to elevate to hurricane status later today, and it may intensify into a major hurricane within the next couple of days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles from the storm’s center.

The DDM has confirmed that no watches or warnings are currently in effect for the BVI, but residents must remain vigilant and monitor the situation closely as it evolves.

Lee is projected to pass through the BVI between this upcoming Sunday and Monday.

It is only a matter of time before another hurricane strike tola. I have predicted earlier this year that the stench of the country have reached high heaven that the wickedness will be your undoing. Though I hope that perchance it hits no worthwhile life will be lost. And yes I don’t count the murderers and drug pushers as worthwhile lives neither do I count the politicians who steal from the treasury be worthwhile lives. The country is in need of a cleansing by any means neccessary. One thing if Irma was an indication every man for himself. You will build up but the wind will pull down. Hoping you don’t have the ball the seek assistance again from down islanders not after how you were so ungrateful the last time. Let tolans rebuild their own worthless country. Yes I said it.

Why you so bitter and wishing evil on Tortola, my beautiful country where terrible people like you can come and call down the natives and still stay unharmed? Thank God he is a God of love and not at all like you. Lots of Tolians helped in the clean up and the rebuild and don’t worry, the expat workers were happy for the work as they were paid well. Nor are we worried that they will work hard again if needed because they do not work for free or thanks. Why you think something other than pay should have been given is strange to me. People travel all over the world for a better life and get it, but somehow some of our visitors are ungrateful. Well let me say it again, you can always go somewhere else and I can tell you no Tolians will be in your face bothering you. So don’t worry, be happy. And don’t stay anywhere you feel unhappy and unwelcomed. Not good for the heart or the soul.

It is hoped that the civil service retirees, teachers and others, will get/receive their increment before hurricane season is over.

This is beyond over bearing now.

You are an evil, ignorant and ungrateful person. Do you lnow how much assistance the BVI through government and individuals have contributed to other Caribbean islands and other countries international for decades? So many Bvislanders have assisted persons having hard time financially, when they need to send money back home , disasters and list goes on. The difference is we don’t always publicise and rub it in your face. If we have the same nentality as you many of us would give nothing, many Bvislanders have had horrific experiences with some persons from some of the same countries insulting us. We still would not wish evil for you and would turn around and help you in a crisis. You know what happens when you wish bad for others.
